Five Steps to form your Dream Come True

Your dreams matter! Your dream is what brought you here! Your dream is no accident. Your dream is who you’re. You ought to pursue it! Your dream gives you meaning and purpose and propels you forward into your chosen future. You must strive to achieve your dreams. Without this uphill battle, the dream will remain only a desire within the subconscious and will never be achieved. But with dreams comes great responsibility. It’s not enough to just dream and forget it.

"We wouldn't be able to live life to the fullest if we didn't have ambitions and dreams to pursue."

Your dream is your calling, something you want to do to fulfill yourself. COMMIT your whole being thereto. Express your faith within the master plan.

Say, "I don't know how I'm going to do it, but the Universe will teach me step by step the path to go if I just believe it and follow my dream." As it’s written in the Bible Mark 9:23: "Everything is possible for the one who believes"

Here's how you know your dream can come true, 5 things you can do right now, right now, to turn your dreams into reality.

The very first step to achieving your dream is to be clear about what your dream is. Our dreams live in our minds and our hearts. Our passions and desires are intertwined with our dreams. Who we are as human beings are fully layered into the things we dream about. If you want your dream to become a reality, you need to define exactly what that dream is. Even if you're not quite sure yet, it's best to start somewhere. And that's with a mind dump.

You can now write it down because it is quite easy to become distracted when using a phone or any other digital source, such as a laptop or an iPad as you reach a point when your thoughts start to slow down or when an alert pops up, you switch and move on to whatever feels more comfortable. You begin using all of the apps and performing all of the actions.

Use Notepad. Just make sure it's something that's clear and clean, allow yourself to be undisturbed and completely devoted for just a short time, and let your mind go. Write down all the things related to your dream.

Are you willing to invest in yourself? If you want your dream to become a reality, it’s imperative to invest in yourself. If you are not able to invest in yourself, how do you expect others to invest in you? Investment can take many different forms, we often think of the first financial investment, but TIME is another really big investment.

To make your dream come true, you have to invest in yourself. Financially and intentionally and with your time. It doesn't have to be the biggest investment, but it has to FEEL big. You have to be able to FEEL that level of risk. If you don't have that level of risk, what will motivate you when the task becomes difficult or when the dream seems a little further away.

Going after your dream, especially when it's a huge leap outside of your comfort zone, is going to be hard. It will be challenging. There will be times when you feel like giving up is the best option. But if you can hang on, hang on for another moment, another hour, another day, you will realize that you are so incredibly close to reaching that next door, that next step, to reach your goal, to reach your dream. When you invest in yourself, you invest in the process and you invest in your dream, and sometimes that's enough to know in your heart - that it WILL BE WORTH IT!

And just a quick disclaimer before you go to step 3 – Make sure you understand this very clearly. When you invest in yourself, you don't have to spend crazy amounts of money. Please don't be irrational. Don't spend a big chunk of change you can't afford. Instead, be financially sound but take some risks so you know what you're fighting for. So you know it will really be worth it.

The reverse process is a method we often use in the classroom. In terms of teaching, we look at everything that needs to be taught in a given semester and work backward. Start with units and work your way up to each individual day. This also applies to your dream. And if you enjoy all the planning, this is the move for you. You can use a monthly calendar OR a project management system for this task.

Backward planning should start with the end goal, be it a completion date, a launch date, or what the finished product/completed dream looks like. And based on the end result, work backward to determine what needs to be done to get there. So you're going to start out a little technical here, so get it written or typed, but you'll want to define each step of the process. And it's totally fine if you don't know the exact settings of things, but you should at least know the framework. Remember that not only you will attract the goal, but the goal will attract you as well! A LIKE ATTRACTS A LIKE.

To make your dream a reality, you will need to devote specific time each week to it. And you will have to be very deliberate about this. When you look at your week ahead on Sunday, block out time in your week where you know you have completely devoted time to working on your dream. Make a note of it and put it in writing.

Schedule a meeting with yourself. Make time for yourself where distractions are limited. Furthermore, make this a time when you can completely focus on working on your dream without having to worry about anything else. Make it a habit. Every week, do this. This way, you can ensure that you have enough time to work on everything you've planned to do to ensure that your dream becomes a reality.

Think of this step as a bonus. Get excited. Be overjoyed. Allow your enthusiasm for your dream to permeate all aspects of your life. Let it shine through. The more you are your own biggest fan, the more people will be drawn to you. People want to be a part of your excitement and joy. This will help you attract your own tribe of supporters and cheerleaders.

Because building your dream won't always be easy; it will be hard, challenging, and sometimes it feels like the hardest thing you could do, but that's life and our dream wouldn't be our dream if it didn't stretch us and make us uncomfortable. But it's only when we choose to push through the uncomfortable when we choose to build and grow, that the pieces of whom we have come together in a stronger, more solid way.
